Delivery of a New RIB to Hulpverleningszone X
“They say, ‘Stay tuned.’ :)
We can’t reveal too much just yet, but it will undoubtedly be another beautiful boat, if we may say so ourselves!”

Delivery of Two New RIBs to Y
We’re already looking forward to sharing these new deliveries with you soon. This organization has immediately purchased two RIBs and we can already reveal that they come in two different lengths with distinct configurations. Exciting, right!
Keep an eye on our social channels to be the first to see them!

Upgrade of the New RIB – Fire Station Zandhoven
Spot the Differences!
In a previous post, you could read that we delivered a new RIB to Brandweer Zone Rand, fire station Zandhoven. As the delivery had to take place quickly, a boat from our stock was supplied. However, this meant that it did not yet fully meet their specific requirements.
At our workshop in Aalst, we carried out the necessary modifications to ensure the boat was finished exactly according to the original technical drawings.
This once again shows that we think along with our clients, there is always a solution!
P.S. Did you spot the differences?
We added an extra rubbing strake along the side of the tubes, reinforced the cone with triple-layer protection, and applied additional non-slip coating on the bow.

Delivery of a New RIB to Hulpverleningszone Waasland
We are pleased to present our latest project: the delivery of a new 6.5-metre RIB to Hulpverleningszone Waasland.
This RIB was fully custom-built according to the specific needs and requirements of the zone. It is equipped with a night-vision camera, gas-sprung suspension seats for up to four people, a Yamaha drive-by-wire system, and much more.
In addition to the vessel itself, we also supplied the container skid unit.
A detailed technical dossier is available upon request.

Delivery of a New RIB to Brandweer Zone Rand, Post Zandhoven
The old RIB of Zandhoven was due for replacement, but the engine, roll bar, and onboard equipment were still in good condition. Therefore, it was decided to transfer the existing rigging and equipment onto a new hull.
This approach keeps costs under control while ensuring that perfectly functioning equipment is reused to its fullest potential. A sustainable choice that benefits both the environment and the budget.
We are grateful for the trust that Brandweer Zone Rand has placed in us.

Delivery of a New RIB to Brandweer Zone Antwerpen
We are proud to be the supplier of the newest RIB for Brandweer Zone Antwerpen.
It concerns a 6.5-metre Tornado (now Interactor) RIB. This vessel has been fully custom-built and tailored to the specific needs and requirements of the zone. It is equipped with, among other features, a night-vision camera, two VHF radios, a burn card support, and a sonar system.
A detailed technical dossier is available upon request.

Delivery of a Small Rescue Vessel to the Belgian Coast Guard
After the Coast Guard purchased two new Tornado boats from us in 2024, we were proud to supply them again in 2025 with a beautiful new vessel, the ‘smaller brother’, the Interactor 420. This is an excellent rescue craft that, despite its compact length, offers impressive handling and reaches a top speed of 48 km/h with a 25 hp engine.

Retubing Tornado from French Sailing School
After a collision, a French sailing club decided to replace the tube of their Tornado. They bought a new tube, but could not find anyone to assemble it. At BoBat we did the retubing and installed all the accessories, such as the life slings, the bumper and the logo. The Tornado is now back in use for lessons and coaching, and looks like new.

Tornado 6.9 equipped with a 200 hp engine and bow thruster.
After years of close collaboration, we are proud to once again be the trusted partner of the RYCB Race and Rescue team for the delivery of their new vessel.
This is a Tornado 6.9, equipped with a Suzuki 200 hp engine, bow thruster, removable seats, leaning posts, a wide rear bench, emergency lights, GPS, two marine radios, AIS, searchlight, and more.

Delivery of 2 Tornados for the Race and Rescue team of Royal Yacht Club Belgium
Long before BoBat was founded, our founder Tim De Rick was already active in the Race and Rescue team of RYCB. In 2021, BoBat was allowed to deliver two new boats. Today, BoBat is still involved in the team, which means we are closely involved in the deployment of the Tornados.

Delivery of RIBs and engines for our Belgian Coastal Rescue Service
BoBat delivered two custom-made Tornados to the Belgian Coastal Rescue Service, which are used daily by rescuers. After several meetings and tests with chief rescuers, one boat was equipped with a Yamaha 40HP engine and the other with a 60HP engine. After one season, the combination with the 60HP proved to offer the best result for their use.

Delivery of new Zodiac Pro 5.5 for Port of Antwerp
This boat required a lot of custom work. First, the engine was checked and a leak was found in the tailpiece, which required an overhaul and a test. After a successful repair of the engine, the new boat was custom-built. The standard anchor roller was omitted, and extra fenders were installed to make the boat suitable for repeated head-on landings.

Retubing two VSR RIBs for the Belgian Water Sports Federation
Just before the summer of 2023, WWSV approached us to repair a tear in the tube of their VSR 5.8R. Given the condition of the old tube, it was decided to provide a complete retubing. The boat is now back in top shape to support the Belgian Olympic sailing team. For the summer of 2024, we have also provided a second VSR 5.8R with a new tube.

Repair of bow with bow roller
This RIB came to us with damage to the bow on the nose. We removed part of the damaged bumper and replaced it with a new section, so that the appearance of the RIB is maintained.

Antifouling applied on the Niel 1 of Fire Department Zone Rivierenland.
The new boat of Fire Department Zone Rivierenland is permanently moored on the water, making the application of antifouling anything but a luxury.
