Complete Refit Tornado 850
Towing and Salvage Company Van de Berge from the Netherlands entrusted us with their RIB for a complete refit . We fitted the boat with a new set of tubes. The existing deck was completely cut out and rebuilt using high-quality materials, with the structure being additionally reinforced internally. Configuration and finishing of escort RIB for divers
We always have several RIBs from our own European brand, Interactor Boats, in stock in Aalst. This was one of our stock boats that we were still able to configure optimally to the customer's specifications. Some custom options that were added: - Clamp on the bow locker - 4 extra handles on the front tube - A custom-made stainless steel diving rack . This was not attached to the hull with screws like most brands do, but carefully mounted on a floorboard laminated to the hull.

Upgrade of new RIB fire station Zandhoven

Delivery of new RIB to Waasland Emergency Services Zone
We are pleased to present our latest project: We had the pleasure of delivering a new 6.5m RIB to Hulpverleningszone Waasland. This RIB was fully custom-made according to the zone's wishes and needs. For instance, it features a night camera, gas-sprung seats for no fewer than 4 people, a Yamaha drive-by-wire system, and much more. Delivery of new RIB to Fire Department Zone Rand, Zandhoven Station
Zandhoven's old RIB was due for replacement , but the engine, roll bar, and equipment were still in good condition. Therefore, it was decided to transfer the existing rigging and equipment to a new hull . This keeps costs down and ensures that perfectly functioning equipment is optimally reused, which is good for the environment and the wallet. We are grateful for the trust that Fire Department Zone Rand has placed in us.

We are the proud supplier of the newest RIB for the Antwerp Fire Zone. It is a 6.5m Tornado (now Interactor) RIB . This vessel is fully custom-made , adapted to the needs and wishes of the zone. Delivery of small rescue vessel to the Belgian Coastguard
After the Coastal Rescue Service purchased two new Tornado boats from us in 2024, we had the pleasure of supplying them with another beautiful new boat in 2025. Namely, the 'smaller brother', the Interactor 420. This is an excellent rescue vessel that, despite its limited length , possesses fine handling characteristics and reaches a speed of no less than 48 km/h with a 25 hp engine.

Repair of rubbing strake with bow roller
This RIB arrived at our workshop with damage to the bow fender. We removed part of the damaged fender and replaced it with a new section to preserve the appearance of the RIB.

Cap Camarat treatment with Perfection Pro
This boat was severely affected by the Italian sun , resulting in a porous gelcoat and warped woodwork. We completely stripped the boat, treated it with epoxy , and finished it with International Perfection Pro . Careful sanding was performed between each coat for a mirror-smooth result . Retubing Tornado of French Sailing School
After a collision, a French sailing club decided to replace the tube on their Tornado . They bought a new tube but couldn't find anyone to install it . At BoBat , we carried out the retubing and mounted all accessories , such as the life slings, the rubbing strake, and the logo. The Tornado is now back in use for lessons and coaching and looks like new.

This fisherman has been a long-time customer of Bobat. The hull of his Capelli Work 750 cracked time and again, rendering the boat unreliable . Long before BoBat was founded, our founder Tim De Rick was already active in the RYCB Race and Rescue team. In 2021, BoBat had the privilege of supplying two new boats. Today, BoBat is still involved with the team , keeping us closely involved in the deployment of the Tornados.

Delivery of RIBs and engines for our Belgian Coastal Rescue Service
BoBat supplied two custom-made Tornadoes at the Belgian Coastal Rescue Service , which are used daily by lifeguards. After several meetings and tests with head lifeguards, one boat was equipped with a Yamaha 40HP engine and the other with a 60HP engine . After one season, the combination with the 60HP proved to offer the best result for their use.

Retubing two VSR RIBs for Wind and Water Sports Flanders
Just before the summer of 2023, WWSV approached us to repair a tear in the tube of their VSR 5.8R. Given the condition of the old tube, it was decided to perform a complete retubing . The boat is now back in top form to support the Belgian Olympic sailing team. For the summer of 2024, we also fitted a second VSR 5.8R with a new tube.

Antifouling applied to the Niel 1 of Fire Zone Rivierenland
