What is the price of a new professional RIB?

Given the customization, we cannot provide guide prices. The price depends on the options you choose. Do not hesitate to contact us for a price indication based on your specific wishes and needs.

NB:
For complex vessels it is almost impossible to give a price indication. In that case we will immediately proceed to a detailed proposal and a quotation.

Our purchases are made through public tenders. Is that possible at BoBat?

Absolutely, BoBat has experience in collaborations with government services, often using framework contracts and public tenders. We are familiar with the processes surrounding tenders and purchase orders.

Can I see examples of new boats from BoBat?

Accepted Answer

We can make an appointment to view our previous deliveries on site. We can also provide test runs so that you can experience for yourself how our boats behave on the water. Please contact us for this.

Due to the customization, we generally do not have ready-made boats in stock.

How can I be sure that BoBat provides a quality finish?

Accepted Answer

We attach great importance to high quality. As the saying goes: 'The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.'

We always seek the balance between what is economically responsible and top quality . We ourselves regularly see how a lack of quality can cause many problems, especially for professional users. That is why we want to prevent your vessel from bringing unnecessary costs and worries . It is essential that you can rely on your vessel when you need it.

As a distributor of top brands such as Suzuki, Yamaha, XS Ribs and Raymarine, we are in close contact with these manufacturers. This enables us to continuously train ourselves and keep our knowledge up-to-date. Thanks to our dealership, you as a customer can enjoy the official factory warranty.

You talk about good quality. Isn't that a commercial sales pitch?

We can say with certainty that we are the only one in the world, together with two to three other brands, who use such strong, reliable, UV-resistant tubes on our RIBs. Together with a detailed finish, we ensure a long life and a high resale value, even long after depreciation. We offer one of the few brands where value is still seen in boats of 20 to 30 years old because of their robust and quality construction.

Question 8

Aluminum boats are gaining popularity. Why should I still choose a polyester RIB?

Accepted Answer

There is no reason to choose aluminum over a quality vinylester hull.

- Aluminum will sooner or later experience oxidation (regardless of the alloy).
- Modifications to the deck and hull cannot be carried out to the same quality standards as to a polyester hull, due to galvanic corrosion.
- The hull is sensitive to damage to the coating, which can cause further oxidation.
- The chance of corrosion due to minor adjustments is very high.
- Since stainless steel and aluminum need to be separated, (expensive) nylon spacers must be used.
- Due to repeated exposure to vibrations and environmental factors (salt water, freezing weather, etc.), welds remain a sensitive point. The welds can even crack within the normal lifespan of the boat. This significantly reduces the reliability of an aluminium hull.

We have experienced all these disadvantages ourselves with our customers' vessels, which have led them to switch to sustainable polyester hulls. Examples, photos and files can be viewed on request.
