A large amount of coolant ended up in the oil sump, but the location of the leak was unclear. A complete disassembly of the engine block became necessary. During this process, we discovered a bolt in the cylinder head that was not from Suzuki, suggesting that it had been worked on previously. Additionally, the block was not mounted to the correct tension . After honing and milling all critical sealing surfaces, we reassembled the engine with the utmost precision . It has since been back in service for two seasons without any problems.
